2008 Big Sky Pinot Noir

The Te Muna vineyard owned and farmed by Katherine Jacobs and Jeremy Corban is really hitting its straps.  This latest offering presents aromatics both floral and funky, and a layered, elegant palate with a mineral edge.  Very fine, and will only get better over the next few years.

WineState Magazine
2008 Big Sky Sauvignon Blanc
Weighty, with ripe, melon and lime flavours and gentle acidity. Subtle, dry style with a smooth, well-rounded finish.

2007 Big Sky Pinot Noir
Generous, tightly structured red with full, bright colour. Strong cherry, plum and dried herb flavours, with smoky oak adding complexity and a backbone of firm, ripe tannins.

2006 Big Sky Pinot Noir
Firmly structured wine, grown at Te Muna Road. Weighty, with strong flavours of plums and spices, a hint of tamarillo, oak complexity and tight tannins. Savoury style, worth cellaring.
